London Community Gospel Choir

From humble beginnings in 1982, Rev Bazil Meade founder of London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC), have gone on to become Europe’s leading Gospel brand and the most in demand choirs across continents of the world, creating a wall of soulful sound that is both memorable and inspirational. LCGC is a Guinness World Record breaking choir who regularly grace many of the world’s greatest events such as International FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, Glastonbury, Live 8, World Aids Festival, Grammy’s and are a regular feature at the Royal Albert Hall. They are dubbed by the British press as ‘the nation’s favourite choir’, who are the first point of call to support not just your high-end entertainment gatherings, but also very involved on the front line in support of charities, global humanitarian causes such as Red Nose Day, Remembrance Day, Cancer Research, Amnesty International, Children in Need, World Aids Day.



A euphoric moment in the life of LCGC was the request by Buckingham Palace to sing for the Queens Platinum Jubilee on the 2nd and 5th June 2022. Where more than 3,000 beacons will be set alight across the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Overseas Commonwealth countries. London Community Gospel Choir along with Gregory porter performed the official Beacons song "A Life Lived with Grace". As if that wasn’t enough, LCGC was invited back by the Palace on the 5th June to lead the National Anthem at the Queens Platinum Jubilee, also to perform two songs in their own right ‘Keep Moving’ and ‘Sun In The Rain’. This historic, momentous, and joyous experience was viewed by almost 1 billion people from around the world. Collective national and international credits for exemplary work carried out span across film, music and TV include, The Lion King, Love Actually, Give My Regards To Broad Street, The Fighting Temptations, Street Dance, Cinderella to name but a few. Artists recorded with, Elton John, Madonna, James Brown, Paul McCartney, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Adele, Greggory Porter, Blur, Justin Timberlake, The 1975, P!NK, the list goes on. Brand clients include, The X Factor, Grammys, The Voice, Brit Awards, BAFTA’s, Britain’s Got Talent, Royal Family engagements, Burberry, Christian Dior, LVMH group, Harrods, Selfridges, Cosmopolitan and various media, TV and production house globally.

Whilst performing concerts, corporate bookings, recording collaborations, media shows and traveling the world, LCGC are currently in the middle of recording songs for a new album. Having made a total of thirteen albums some released through major record labels, this new album promises to be the most defining to date. The yet untitled album is a message album with its narrative about peace, love and justice. A combination of covers and original songs paint a positive picture of hope and optimism during what is, considered to be, a time of global doom and gloom. To say that excitement is buzzing right now in the atmosphere, is an understatement.
